Prosciutto Crudo and Marinated Beef Tomato Bagel

  Step 1

  Slice a beef tomato in half and remove the stem.

  Slice in to pieces approximately 1cm thick.

  Step 3

  Lay on to a board and season with salt and pepper.
• 4

  Step 4

  Sprinkle with a little torn basil leaves.
• 5

  Step 5

  Drizzle with balsamic vinegar and leave to marinate for 20 minutes.

  Step 6

  Slice the bagels, butter them and lay them out on to a baking tray.

  Step 7

  Bake in a pre-heated oven (180ºC) until golden.

  Step 8

  Remove bagels from oven and add slices of mozzarella or sliced cheddar.

  Step 9

  Add 2 pieces of prosciutto crudo to each bagel.

  Step 10

  Top with a couple of slices of the marinated tomatoes.

  Garnish with a fresh leaf salad and top the bagel.
